We are so sorry, Gord, Heather & families for the great loss of your dear Mother and grandmother. Aunt Gwen was very sweet to us and always welcomed us with a smile and a big hug. I will always remember the time I spent with her, her giggle and positive comments. Miss you, Aunt Gwen.

Gordon and all family, Aunt Gwen was the sweetest, dearest lady. I marveled at her strength, humor and such genuine concern for others. She outlived her dear siblings, and brought great comfort to nieces Who lost a beloved mother. Aunt Gwen charmed us with her love and knowledge of the Toronto Blue Jays, her use of email and Facebook, and enduring sense of humor that always brought on her infectious giggle! I am so sad to see the loss of her generation, those who secured our freedom, lived so simply and raised us with solid values. She was proud of her Cornish heritage, loved her husband, children, grandchildren, great grand children, and welcomed the rest of us so warmly, into her cosy home. I'll always see her as the pretty girl in the photo, possibly taken around her wedding (in 1940??). Curly auburn hair, sparkling eyes, dainty nose and beautiful smile. She was a doll! Love you very much AG!!!!
