Obituary of Delphine Louise Oakie

OAKIE, Delphine Louise Passed away peacefully with family by her side and after a brief illness at St. Peter's Hospital, Hamilton on Saturday, July 2nd in her 95th year. Predeceased by her devoted husband Armand (1985). Loving mother of Joyce (Fred) Yasinchuk, Vincent (Dina) and David (Paula). Much loved Grandma of Jeffery (Cate), Matthew (Bia), Amanda, Jessica, Alicia (Adam), Christopher and Stephen, and 5 great grandchildren. Survived by her loving brother Evo (Mary) Carlucci. Predeceased by her siblings Raye Jeske, Joseph Carlucci and Joan Graziani. The family extends a sincere thank you to the staff at Villa Italia and St. Peter's Hospital, and Dr. Preston Zuliani for their kind and compassionate care. Delphine's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Tuesday, July 5th from 4-8pm. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Catholic Church, 272 Vine Street on Wednesday, July 6th at 9:30am. Entombment following in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Vigil Prayers will be recited on Tuesday at 7pm. If desired, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
