Obituary of Bob Glen

GLEN, Robert “Bob” Surrounded by his family, Bob suddenly passed away in his home on Friday, July 8, 2016 at the age of 66. Beloved husband and best friend of 27 years to Joanne. Forever loved father of Derek, Jarod and Jenelle. Cherished Grandpa of Isabella and Austin. Loving son-in-law of Gerry Walker. Dear brother-in-law of Susan Walker, Rose Neale, Michael (Maureen) Walker, Maureen (Paul) Misener, Bonnie (Steve) Taras, Sheila (Don) Hastings and Sharon (Rick) Gingras. He will be greatly missed by his numerous nieces and nephews. Bob retired as a Sergeant after 35 years, with the Niagara Regional Police Service. He touched the lives of everyone he met and will be dearly missed by all. Visitation for Bob will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines, on Monday, July 11, from 7-9 p.m.. A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. Cremation to follow the ceremony. A celebration of his life and a reception will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 613, 141 Highway 20 E, Fonthill. In lieu of flowers, donations to the ALS Society would be greatly appreciated.
