Obituary of Clyde Peters

PETERS, Clyde Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at the age of 75. Survived by his loving sister and best friend Barb (Ivan) Kvesic. Devoted uncle of Mary-Louise (Denis), David (Izabela) and Deanna (the late Dario). Much loved great uncle of Joshua, Megan, Marek, Maya, Daniel and Matthew. Greatly missed by his canine friend Rex. Lovingly remembered by Patty. Predeceased by his parents, Stolhmon and Bessie and by his brother Elgin. Clyde was a very proud Special Olympian, receiving many medals for his skills and passion in bowling. Clyde will be remembered for his selflessness and for always doing the right thing. His other passions included animals, fishing, woodworking, socializing, and good food. Despite many struggles, Clyde was brave, persevered and always had a smile on his face. Although he will be greatly missed by his family and friends, we take comfort in knowing he's somewhere riding a bike with a big smile on his face. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Monday, July 18 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Clyde's life will be held on Tuesday, July 19 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Memorial donations may be made to the Lincoln County Humane Society, Animal Assistance Society or Special Olympics - St. Catharines (Bowling).
