Obituary of Michael Curry

CURRY, Michael Emerson Passed away suddenly but peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Tuesday, July 12, 2016. Brother to the late William Curry (Willow) and Donna Berezowski (the late Raymond). Husband to the late Linda Curry and Rachelle Curry. Loving father to Jacqueline Brown (Neil), Melissa Dover (Jason) and Jeremy Curry (Xanthe). Grandfather to Danielle, Joanna, and Michael Brown, Madelyn and Carson Dover, and Mackenzie and Lia Curry. Born and raised in St. Catharines, Michael will be greatly missed not only by his family but by the many friends he made throughout his 69 years of life. A long time employee of the Federal Government, Michael had a reputation of being efficient and caring for those people assigned to him. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 613. He has been known to have played pool and partake in a few cold ones at times. He loved to cook and enjoyed trying different foods and restaurants. He will always be remembered for his ecstatic sense of humour and his willingness to help people. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff in the ICU for their care and compassion. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Friday, July 22 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. A Memorial Service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11:30 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
