Obituary of Kenneth Cronkwright

CRONKWRIGHT, Kenneth Wayne (Kenny) It is with great sadness that the family of Kenny Cronkwright announce his passing on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at the age of 70. Born in St. Catharines, Ontario, he was the son of the late Annie Cronkwright (nee Wozencroft) and Ken Cronkwright. He was predeceased by his brother Keith Cronkwright (2016). Kenny's greatest joy was his family. Loving husband to Janis (nee Greenlaw), much loved father to Jeff (Erin) and Shane (Asta), adoring Papa to Ben, Mairi, Mason, Ian, and Sebastian. Dear brother-in-law to Cindy and Dave Shugan, Rodger Greenlaw, David and Marjana Greenlaw, Donald and Giz Greenlaw and Debbie Cronkwright. Cherished uncle to Rebecca, Lauren and Allison Greenlaw. Kenny was well known for his many years with the Ford dealerships in Niagara. The family extends sincere appreciation to Dr. B. Leonard, his nurse Gillian Mathieson, and all the oncology nurses and the nurses of 3B for their wonderful care and compassion throughout Kenny's illness. In keeping with Kenny's wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Thursday, July 28 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Kenny's life will be held on Friday, July 29 at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Walker Family Cancer Centre or to Canadian Blood Services.
