To my Mom,
Now that life is 'back to normal' I realize that my life will truly never be back to normal.
The calls which we have enjoyed for many years at precisely 7:30 pm every single evening will not exist for me but I promise you that every night at that exact time I will think of you.
I will remember and appreciate the many memories that I have in my heart. My first memory is of you doing my hair and sitting me on the kitchen counter to carefully putting my hair in pigtails with silk, plaid ribbons that you always ironed before you tied them in my hair.
Wednesday's as a child were magic it was your day off and supper was always amazing and there was always a special desert.
When I became a mother you helped me learn to be a better mother ....always checking my children had on an undershirt regardless of the season.
You welcomed becoming a grandmother and great grandmother and always proudly told people - 5 grandchildren and 14 grandchildren.
The long and happy marriage you created with Dad was inspiring and you must be so proud to know that your children have followed in your footsteps and will both celebrate 48 years of marriage this year.
Family events were indeed events and as long as everybody came and there were lots of deserts you were happy.
Your's and Dad's blessing when we moved so far away from you to Saskatchewan was so meaningful and important to us. Even though there was a great distance between us physically you were always just a phone call or a plane ride away.
Until we meet again......Pat

Uncle Bob and the entire Taylor family,
Our thoughts are with you during this time. I have such fond memories of going to St. Catharines to pick up Grandma Pimlatt from Aunt Margaret and Uncle Bob's.
We would sit in the back yard and could hear the ships going through the Canal.
Such wonderful memories through the years and we will cherish those times for many years to come.

Aunt Marge was always happy and smiling. She was so proud of her children and their families. Aunt Marge was very organized and a true home maker. Always the first to bring her famous chocolate coloured marshmallow logs or jellied salad to the many family gatherings we attended. She loved anything and wore Angie Strauss. I will remember her red hair perfectly done and her love of coffee. I will cherish forever out last visit and conversation. Miss you until we meet again. Your loving niece. Lorna xo

You often said you didn't like being 90, that getting old is very hard. You faced age with a smile, a laugh, while waving to just about everyone. You uplifted friends & family with the loud call of 'HOT DOG!' rather than BINGO.
You didn't complain about your worsening health and were always very thankful for any and all help from your family. You will truly be missed but always in our hearts.
Love you Mom, Ken & Denise

Grandma, I love you so much. I'm so thankful I got to tell you how much I loved you many times. I have tons of great memories with you.. I will miss the way you would smile and squint your face at me when I would tell you something funny or give you a hard time about not eating enough. I will always remember the unconditional love you gave Ben & I. Your devotion to Papa was inspireing. Please make good on your promise of saving me a place in heaven and I expect you to be there 'with bells on' to meet me when my time comes. Love always, Michael
