Obituary of Sidney Bennett

BENNETT, Sidney William Passed away at home on Thursday, July 28, 2016 at the age of 77. Predeceased by his beloved wife Mildred and his son Scott. Loving father of Kelly Frank (Richard Bala) and Darren. Proud Papa of Andrew (Alannah) and Alex. Cherished brother of Marlene Crandall, Cyrillyn (Sam) Cocco, the late Grant, the late Ian, and brother-in-law of Flo and Marion. Sidney will also be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and members of the Beales family. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Friday, August 5 from 10-12 p.m. A Celebration of Sidney's life will follow in the funeral home chapel at 12 p.m. Interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Walker Family Cancer Centre.
