Obituary of Berena M. Muratori

MURATORI, Berena M. Born on July 8, 1916 in Montreal, Quebec, Berena passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Tufford Seniors Residence, on Thursday, August 11, 2016, one month past her 100th birthday. Predeceased by her beloved husband, John Muratori. She is survived by her son, Victor (Brenda) Muratori. Nonna to John and Joanna Muratori. Berena is also survived by her dear sister Olga Melloni and by numerous nieces and nephews. Berena was predeceased by her sisters, Inez Muratori, Lena De Marco and Nellie Esposito. Many thanks to the staff of Tufford, for her care during her stay. Berena is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 22, 2016 from 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 21 Queen Street South, Thorold, on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Rite of Committal to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In memory of Berena, donation may be made to St. Vincent de Paul or to a charity of your choice.
