Obituary of Anna Derkacz

DERKACZ, Anna Passed away peacefully on Friday, August 26, 2016 in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late William (Wasyl). Loving mother to Jerry (Kathy), Eugene (Jennifer) and Irene. Cherished Baba to Jenn Voordouw (Dave), Sean Fairey, Victoria Sanderson and Lesia Spoar (Stephen). Proud Great Baba of Emily & Davin Voordouw, Abigail & Hayley Sanderson and Addilyn Spoar. Anna was very proud of her Ukrainian heritage. She will be remembered for all of her hard work, but above all else, her devotion to her family. Special thanks to the staff at Henley House for their kindness. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Monday, August 29 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday, August 30 from 9-11 a.m. A Funeral Service for Anna will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Sick Kids Foundation.
