Obituary of Peter Zeleniak

ZELENIAK, Peter It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Peter on Thursday, September 1, 2016. He leaves behind his wife Anna, children Michael, Mary (Rob) Weaver, Olga, Pearl Desebrais and the late Nicholas. Peter will be fondly missed by his grandchildren Jimmy, Stephen, Rhonda, Krissy, Jeffery, Stephanie, Robbie, Tricia, Suzy, Melissa and Andy and his 18 great grandchildren. Peter also leaves behind his sister Mary in Ukraine. A special thank you to Shanna Gogo, Ellen Ternowski, Elaina and Linda for all of their help. Peter's family will receive guests at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Panachyda will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday September 7, 2016 at 10 a.m. Divine Liturgy will be held at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Ukrainian Church, 14 Rolls Ave., on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow the service at Victoria Lawn Cemetery, Queenston St. Memorial donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
