Obituary of Enrichetta Cardillo

CARDILLO, Enrichetta (nee Azotini) With deep sadness in our hearts, we said farewell to our mother, nonna and bisnonna, Enrichetta on Sunday, September 4, 2016 with her family by her side. Enrichetta was born in Pignataro Iteramna Italy and was predeceased by her loving husband Guiseppe. Mother of Mario (Maria), Josephine (Ludovico) and John (Tina). Nonna of Frank, John, Liz (Bryn), Dan (Tricia), Alaina (Paulo), Alcina and GianLuca. Bisnonna of Matthew, Evan, Ryan, Ethan, Dario, Michael and Matthew. Predeceased by her parents Ugo and Josephine, brothers Giuseppe and Rimualdo and sister Filomena. Enrichetta enjoyed a full life of 95 years. She treasured her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her pride and joy was being a member of St. Alfred Church choir and rosary prayer groups. She enjoyed her Club Roma membership and her many excursions to St. Anne-de-Beaupré and to San Gabriele. Her love for her sister Pasqualina, nieces and nephews will never be forgotten. Enrichetta's passions were singing music, cooking, baking, gardening, crocheting and spending time with friends and family. The family would like to thank the Niagara Health System for all their care and compassion. Enrichetta's family will receive guests at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers will be held in the funeral home at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. A Funeral Liturgy will be held at St. Alfred Church, 272 Vine St., St. Catharines, on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will follow the service at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
