Obituary of Solange Yvonne Labatte

LABATTE, Solange (formerly LaPlante) Passed away peacefully and with her loving family by her side on Sunday, September 11th at Niagara Gardens Retirement Residence in her 100th year. Predeceased by her first husband Hector LaPlante and second husband Thomas Labatte. Loving mother of Robert G (Katy Butyniec) LaPlante and beloved mother in law of Marie LaPlante. Devoted grandmother of Wendy (Michael) Klauck, Rob (Erica) LaPlante, Ron (Lisa) LaPlante, David Butyniec and Stephen (Marissa) Butyniec. Dear great grandmother of Mackenzie, Connor, Karenna, Kamryn, Danielle, Andrew, Joel, Macy, Madelyn, Athan and Alexa. Also survived by her brother Theo (Fernande) Perras, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her many brothers and sisters. Mrs. Labatte's family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street on Thursday, September 15th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday, September 16th at St. Denis Catholic Church, 230 Lake Street at 12 pm. Rite of Committal in Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, Fonthill. Vigil Prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Thursday at 3pm. If desired, memorial donations to Lions Eye Care ( Niagara) would be appreciated by the family.
