Obituary of Walter Rae Murray

MURRAY, Walter Rae Passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Monday, November 21, 2016 at the age of 79. Much loved husband of 55 years to Carol. Loving father of Rae (Vito) Catella, Derek (Dianne) and Carol-Anne (Larry Bilkszto). Very proud Papa of Katryna, the late William, Krista (Matt), Mark, Victoria, Jessica and Jacklyn. Walter will also be fondly remembered by his family in Scotland. Walter was the president and CEO of Foster Wheeler Limited. He enjoyed golfing, travelling, and spending time with his family and friends. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Thursday, November 24 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Walter's life will take place on Friday, November 25 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
