Obituary of Kay Anna Briggs

Briggs, Kathleen (Kay) Anna On Tuesday November 22nd, with family by her side, our Mother left our world. After a long and fulfilling life she is now joining family and friends that are waiting. Mom was born in Belleville and raised in Hamilton where she became a lifelong Tiger Cats fan. Predeceased by her beloved husband Tom (1985. Loving Mother of Nancy Skubel and her husband Danny and Colin and his wife Gale. Proud Gramma to Christopher and his fiancee Sarah, Matthew, Sheralyn and her husband Brian and Andrew. Mom will be remembered by her sister June Yole and her husband Bill, brother-in-law Ted Devenish, sister-in-law Pat Briggs, a niece and many nephews. Mom had a broad knowledge and was never at a loss for words. It is her voice and her spirit we will always remember. We are so very grateful for the compassion and hugs from the dedicated staff at Tabor Manor. Friends and family will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Sunday, November 27, 2016 from 1-3 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at 3 pm in the ceremony room. Interment will take place at a later date.
