Obituary of Jean Katharine McLeod

McLEOD, Jean Katharine ( June 11, 1942 - December 5, 2016 ) - In her 74th year surrounded by the love of her family, Jean passed away at the St. Catharines General Hospital. Beloved wife of Tom for 53 years. Loving mother of Nadine (Mike) Gray and Blair McLeod. Dear Nana of Haiven and Allura. Grandmother of Nicholas, Conner, Blaine and Emilee. "Forever in our hearts". Jean worked at Canadian Tire on Welland Avenue and the old Grantham store for almost 30 years where she was a Housewares Manager and Clerk and after retirement went back at Christmas to decorate the trees. She loved her yoga classes. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Friday, December 9th from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. Cremation to follow. A private family gathering will take place at a later date. Memorial donations to Southridge Shelter or the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated by the family.
