Obituary of Allan Joseph Duemo
DUEMO, Allan Joseph
Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 in his 85th year. Beloved husband of 57 years to Mary Lou. Loving father of Kathy (Wayne) Foster and Dan (Lisa) Duemo. Cherished Papa Al to Alanna, Kara, Conner and Quinton. Much loved brother of Robert "Ted" Duemo and Mona Schulz. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Shirley, and sisters Ina and Doris. Allan was employed as a supervisor with Kimberly Clark for 40 years. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren. Special thanks for the heartfelt care that Allan received in the ICU (B2) at NHS-St. Catharines. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Wednesday, February 15 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral for Allan will take place at Grace Anglican Church, 238 Geneva St., St. Catharines on Thursday, February 16 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to NHS-St. Catharines (ICU).
