My aunt Becky was Fern's second wife. They had many happy years together and we shared both laughter and tears over the years. Following Becky's passing in 2005 we kept in touch with Fern, with numerous visits and a trip to Florida where we took him in 2009.More recently Fern became less curious about many of his former interests. We regret not being there to say goodbye to him specifically but he has been the subject of many prayers and we have many memories to recall.
I want to thank Marie Glass a wonderful friend to both Fern and Becky for letting us know of his final days. He will be missed. A kind and compassionate man,who loved family and grieved separations, full of good humour and appreciation for his life.
On Oct 23 a simple memorial service will be held in Orangeville to enable our family and friends to reflect on the last half of Fern's life which was well known to us.
Condolences to all those who loved him

Dear Morin family and Marie, We were very saddened to hear of Fern's passing. Our family spent wonderful visits over the years with Becky and Fern. Fern was a wonderful friend to Dad in St. Catherines and we have memories of Fern's big smile while playing our piano. It is very sad that we have lost that generation in our family. Fern was a gentle man and very respected by the Sylvester, Rochon and Geddes family. We wish you strength through this very hard time. Sincerely, Cliff and Louise Geddes; Allan and Claire Rochon; Bob and Mara Rochon and families
