Obituary of Frank Szyszka
Szyszka, Frank - The family of Franciszek "Frank" Szyszka announce the death of a most loving father, Opa, uncle and friend at the age of 88 on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at the St. Catharines General Hospital. Frank will be greatly missed by his daughters Helena Rocca and Diana Pompei, his granddaughters Rose Marie, Kayla, Sofia and Alessandra, his nieces and nephews especially Tadeusz and Gosia, and his friends Darren and Quinn Gibson. Predeceased by his beloved wife Frieda (nee Walter). Frank devoted his life to the care and support of his family, and brought joy into the lives of all who knew him. Frank was a true gentleman. Distinguished by his unlimited capacity for kindness and generosity, he exemplified the values of love and truth, which he upheld throughout his life. He made the world a better place and will never be forgotten. Arrangements are entrusted to George Darte Funeral Home, 905-937-4444. Funeral Liturgy will be held at Cathedral of St. Catherine of Alexandria, 3 Lyman Street on Saturday February 18, 2017 at 10 am. Burial to take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery with a reception to follow. Memorial donations may be made to Martindale Adult Day Program in Frank's honour.
