Obituary of David Robert Anthony Layzell

Dave Layzell passed away unexpectedly, with his brother Cary by his side on Thursday February 16th, 2017 at the age of 56.  He is the beloved son of Georgia Fyfe (Bob) & Dave Layzell Sr (Jude) and the treasured step-son to Ken Fyfe (Pat).  Dave will be lovingly remembered by his brothers Cary (Sue), Jim, Darren and his sisters Vanessa (Chris), Kathy, Linda (Dave), Sylvia and Dawn. He will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews Anthony, Ryan, Tyler, Kathleen, Kayla, Kiersten, Kennadie, Korinity, Donavin and Emmett. He will also be fondly remembered by his former wife Lorna Layzell, 4 legged friend Pepper and many lifelong friends.  The family will receive friends at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton Street in St. Catharines, on Friday February 24th, 2017 from 11am to 1pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Camp Oochigeas (for children with cancer) would be appreciated by the family.
