Obituary of Millicent "Millie" Mary Blower
BLOWER, Millicent “Millie” Mary (née Marshall)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Millie on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital at the age of 91. Beloved Wife of the late George (1984). Cherished Mom to Janet (Paul), Connie (Mark) and George. Loving Grandmother to Charlene (Dave), Beverley (Jason), Carrie-Ann (Ryan), Joey (Kat) and Tyler. Great Grandmother to Justin, Ryan (Michelle), Brookelynn, Stephanie, Ellie and Great Great Grandmother to Brayden and Michayla. Sister to Robert and Margaret. Millie was a spirited woman who lived a full life. She was kind to everyone and made friends wherever she went. Millie’s wonderful sense of humour will be missed.
The family would like to thank the Staff at Hotel Dieu Shaver and the PSW Home Care Workers for all their care and compassion.
Visitation will be held at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., on Sunday, March 12, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. A Celebration of Millie’s Life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Victoria Lawn Cemetery at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 13, 2017.
