Obituary of Alex Zacharuk

ZACHARUK, Alex Passed away on Friday, March 31, 2017 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Dorothy. Cherished father of Mary (Rick Lanteigne) Zacharuk and James (Sandra) Zacharuk. Loving grandfather of Kathleen, Kyle, Amber, Jessica and Justin. Alex was employed for over 22 years at General Motors - St. Catharines Plant. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Monday, April 3 from 10 a.m.- 12 p.m. A Celebration of Alex's Life will follow at 12 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow, after which a reception will be held at Bethel Baptist Church, 10 Arlington Avenue, St. Catharines. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
