Obituary of Jeffrey "Jeff" Reed

Passed peacefully at St. Catharines General Hospital after a long struggle with Parkinsons on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the age of 70. Loving husband of Gill of 9 years. Father of Kristoffer (Kristi), Craig (Lori) and stepfather of Andrew (Katie). Grandad to Meladori and Sebastian. Also survived by his aunt Vera Clay. Jeff emigrated to Canada in 1970 and worked as a painter at Hinterhoeller and C&C Yachts until the early 1990s. The family would like to thank the nurses on 3B for their care and compassion as well as Kris Novosel (RN) Duodopa Clinic, Hamilton and Dr. Paulseth for his continuing care over the past 25 years. Family and friends will be welcomed at the George Darte Funeral Chapel on Monday, April 24, 2017 from 2-4pm. A Memorial Service will follow at 4pm in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to Parkinsons Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
