WILLIAMSON, Matthew Richard Eric

Passed away suddenly on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at the age of 31. Matthew will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Richard and Lynn; his siblings, Michael and Jennifer; and his grandparents, Walter and Marie Gill. Cherished nephew of Evan (Beth) Williamson, Rob (Leeann) Williamson, Randy (Sue) Gill, Dale Gill and David Gill. Much loved cousin of Ashley, Clinton, David, Jeffrey, Sean, and Stephen. Beloved Godson of Michael and Mary-Anne Racz. Matthew will also be missed by his Aunt Janie LeCain, his many friends & coworkers at the Greater Niagara General Hospital and his dog, Ares. Predeceased by his grandparents, Donald and Dorothy Williamson.

Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Wednesday, May 3 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. A Celebration of Matthew's life will take place on Thursday, May 4 at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place at Lane's Cemetery in St. Ann's on Saturday, May 6 at 11 a.m. Memorial donations in Matthew's memory may be made to Hospice Niagara.
