Obituary of Edward Markarian

Markarian, Edward - Passed away peacefully on Saturday May 20, 2017 at Royal Rose Place at the age of 91. Predeceased by his loving wife Jasmine (nee Choghangjian) of 56 years. Cherished Dad to Don (Marion), Adrienne (Dave), and John (Donna). Beloved Grandpa to Katie (Jeff), Jacyln (Nino), and great grandchildren Madelyn, Emily, George, Lincoln and Davin. Will be fondly remembered by many family members and close friends. Special thanks to the nursing staff of Royal Rose Place and the PSWs' that assisted with Dad's care. Edward was a Chemist by profession and was a member of The Chemical Institute of Canada. He was also involved in local business.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the George Darte Funeral  Home, 905-937-4444. Cremation has taken place. A public gathering will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery on May 26, 2017 at 2 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Diabetes Association of Ontario or Alzheimers Society in Edward's honour.
