I was so saddened by this unexpected news. This is huge loss to the family as Marie was a great woman and I was privileged to have met her. She will be missed and the family will not be the same without her.

Auntie Marie was such an important person in our lives from the moment she arrived in Canada with the family! Endless cups of tea and that sudden burst of laughter, the way she would listen with all her attention and her teasing that let you know you were OK and that she loved you, warts and all.
She was the personification of 'small but mighty' and thinking of her brings so many great memories of dumpling and trifle, birthday celebrations in Niagara, Christmas Eve singalongs with she and Mum together on the couch warbling '5 golden rings', and Sunday visits after Mass.
Aunt Marie and Mum were so close, and while I'm sure they are both overjoyed now to be reunited in Heaven, it's heart-breaking to think she's no longer here with us.
Marie, Anne, Claire, Andrew and Suzanne - and the rest of the family - our prayers, thoughts and love are with you now, and Nik and I share your sorrow in her passing.
