Obituary of John Himes

We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of John Allen Himes. John passed away on Monday May 29th at the Greater Niagara General Hospital at the age of 52. He will be incredibly missed by his brother Timothy, sister Heather, and his son John Calvin (Taya). Predeceased by his parents Calving and Edith Himes, John will be forever loved and greatly missed by many friends and extended family.

As per John's wishes, cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at the George Darte Funeral Chapel, 585 Carlton Street, on Monday June 5th from 2-4 pm and a celebration of life following visitation at 4 pm in the funeral home chapel. 

Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army or Mennonite Central Committee.
