Obituary of Angela Biancaniello

BIANCANIELLO, Angela (nee Mongelluzzo) - Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Friday, June 2nd, 2017 at the St. Catharines Hospital at the age of 80. Beloved wife of Antonio for 59 years. Cherished mother of Raffaela, the late Teresa, and Maria (Antonio) Oresta. Loving Nonna of Gavino, Massimo, and Rosalia. Sister of Carmela ( Giuseppe) Mongelli and family of Australia, Giovanna ( Carmine) Del Sordo and family of Italy and Raffaela ( the late Raffaele) Delli Gatti and family of the United States. Sister in law of  Maria (the late Vincenzo) Mongelluzzo of St. Catharines, Maria ( the late Antonio) Mongelluzzo of St. Catharines and Angelina (the late Michele) Mongelluzzo of Italy, Giuseppina (Antonio) Biancaniello of the United States, Carmela ( the late Michele) Biancaniello, Amato (Grazia) Biancaniello of the United States, Pasquale (Giovanna) Biancaniello of the United States and Vincenzo (Maria) Biancaniello. Angela is predeceased by her parents Amato and Teresa Mongelluzzo and her Father in law Raffaele and Mother in law Francesca. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Angela will always be remembered for being a very giving and generous lady.  A sincere thank you to all of the staff at the St. Catharines Hospital and Paramed for all of their care and compassion. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Monday, June 5th from 2-4p.m. & 7-9p.m. Vigil Prayers will take place on Monday at 3p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine Street, St. Catharines on Tuesday, June 6th at 11a.m. Rite of Committal at Victoria Lawn Cemetery to follow. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
