GIERCZAK, Edward Frank

Suddenly, on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at the age of 63 at the Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga. Beloved son of the late Tadeusz (2012) and Stefania. Cherished brother of Eugene and his wife Jacqueline (nee van Teunenbroek) and their children Melissa and Michael, and Richard and his wife Mary Ann (nee Baccolini) and their children Jenna, Nicholas. Edward obtained his Bachelor of Mathematics at Queen’s University and his Business Degree at the University of Windsor. He was an avid fan of hockey and baseball. Ed will be remembered for his love of family. Special thanks to the staff and doctors at Credit Valley Hospital for their care and compassion. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Friday, June 9 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Rosary will be recited on Friday at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 5 Oblate Street, St. Catharines on Saturday, June 10 at 10:15 a.m. with entombment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by his family.
