BENEVENTO, Maria

Passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side in her 82nd year. Beloved wife of 62 years to the late Leonardo. Cherished mother of Francesca (the late Mario) Caucci, Angela (Vince) Medici and the late Josephine Benevento-Maniaci. Much loved Nonna of Pietro (Corrine), Leonardo (Emily) and Silvestro (Janelle) Caucci; Maria Rosa Maniaci, Angela-Marie (Matthew) McPherson and Leonardo Medici. Little Nonna to Milena, Cynthia, Sophia, Mario, Nicolas and Valentina. Dear sister of Rosario Tocco. Maria will always be remembered for her great love and enjoyment of her family. The family extends their gratitude to the staff at Upper Canada Lodge for their care and compassion. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Wednesday, July 12 from 2-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Church, 4673 Victoria Avenue, Niagara Falls on Thursday, July 13 at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations to Lymphoma Canada would be appreciated by the family.
