Obituary of Garabad Charles Hagopian

Garabad Charles Hagopian, 57, passed away peacefully on Tuesday August 8th, 2017 surrounded by family and friends.   

He is predeceased by his parents, Alexander & Lousanoush Hagopian, as well as his brother Samuel Hagopian and sister Sandra Najarian.  He is survived by his sisters Anna (Garbis) Lakhoian, Juliette Hagopian and his brother Alexander Hagopian.  He will be sadly missed by his 20 nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends.  Better known to his family and friends as “Charlie”, was a man of God and had many passions in life including painting, working on cars and hanging out at coffee shops.  Mr. Hagopian's family will receive family and friends with a service at George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street, on Friday August 11th from 6:00pm to 8:30pm. A special screening of the documentary “No Honour In Truth” : The Story of Charlie Hagopian will be screened at 7pm.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Garabad Charles Hagopian to the Niagara Children Centre and Hotel Dieu Shaver.
