Dearest Zio....we are forever going to miss you and love you,but i am consoled in the fact that you are where you really want to be, with the ones you love, and who have passed on before you........you have left us with so many good memories that you're children,neices,nephews,grand-children,and g.g-grandchildren,will forever hold close to theire hearts, and also carry on through theire lives...i would like to share some of those with you...I remember Christmas with the whole family, and how special it always was,8 kids, the noise and chatter, the yelling, the t.v full blast with the latest hockey game, and the food, well, what can i say about that!!...it seemed like our Mom's were cooking weeks in advance for this meal, fit for a a five star restaurant!!....And then when some of us married,we had others to share this feast with..then the grandkids and great neices and nephews arrived, and made more room for them, never running out of food!!!...they will surely hold those memories close to theire hearts,as we will.....I remember walking to school, down Lake st.,and walking by you're store, hoping to catch a glimpse of you,and when i did,and you waved to me,i felt so safe knowing you were there, sometimes you'd come out and throw me an apple!!..i will forever miss you pinching my nose and calling me "Zgribia"...how i loved that...I remember Edmund St.,and the fun we had,and the sleepovers,Emily Park in Peterbourough and, picnics at Queenston Heights and how many tables we could put together(the "food" thing again!!)our trips to Long Island with 8 kids(2cars)and NO seatbelts,lol..Dad's red station wagon and you're car, filled to the brim!!..Coming back home from those trips was a feat in itself!..you would always fill the trunk with clams and other seafood, and luckily get it over the border,as far as my dad went,we ALWAYS got pulled over, and then the dumping began, with my Mom yelling at my Dad,for what just took place, and you driving off with a smile on you're face!!..The grandkids and neices and nephew's will always remember "THE BELT",and how you would tease them with it,if they wouldn't settle down...at the same time looking at me,winking, and saying to me "i get em'" and how they would laugh at that!!...you also had a way with words.."on-off" comes to mind, and when you said those words,we would laugh till we cried!!...so you see Zio,you have left us with so many memories, and love for one another, that we will always hold dear to us...i will forever miss and love you dearly,my favourite uncle...please give my dear Dad,Zia,and Tina a kiss for me,and please tell them...We'll be O.K....'Till i see you again,Tanti Bacci...
