I know for a fact that the first year is the hardest. I lost my father and best friend just over a year and a half ago. All the firsts are horrible. The first year I was constantly at the grave, but this year I have held back a bit and only go when I feel I need to. Time doesn't lessen the pain, just refocuses it. I wish you all well during this trying time. Just continue to talk to Jen and she will hear you. She will never leave you because she is in your hearts forever.

I remember you, Jennifer, as little kids, along with Tina, your neighbor, and Lodge Beck. I lived at the other bend in Jeffcoat. I will always remember you as the smiling girl you once were. Its a shame that you are gone, without us touching base. To the McCurdy clan, God Bless. Cancer is an evil disease. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
