DUBANOW, Maria nee Baczynski
Passed away peacefully with family by her side at the St. Catharines General Hospital on October 7, 2017 at 92 years of age. Predeceased by loving husband Paul (2007), loving mother of Michael (Lydia) of Timmins, Peter (Chiara) of Hamilton, Anthony (Debbie) of Timmins and Anna (Ed Caldwell) of Niagara Falls. Special and cherished grandmother to Stephanie (Gary Barber), Paul Dubanow, Darren (Natasha), Chad (Melissa), Amanda (Jason Henry), Dawn (Jason) Bouvier, Shannon (Colin) Philip, Marylou (Grant) Wall and Jason Caldwell. Loving great grandmother to her many great grandchildren. Mrs. Maria Dubanow immigrated to Scotland in 1948, then to Canada in 1957 where she and her family settled in Timmins, ON. After retirement in 1987, Maria and her husband moved to St. Catharines, ON. In keeping with Maria’s wishes, cremation has taken place with no visitation or service. Inurnment to follow in Timmins at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 905 937 4444. Thank you to the nursing staff at the Loyalist Retirement Home and the St. Catharines General Hospital for care and assistance.
