Obituary of Cecilia Krupa

KRUPA, Cecilia (nee Lukasik)

At the age of 90, Cecilia passed away at Hospice Niagara on October 11, 2017 in St. Catharines. She was the wife of the late Joseph Krupa (1984) and Mother of Richard (Karlyn), Jeannie (Rick) and Edward (Bev). She was the proud Babcia of Andrea (Ryan), Lauren (Rob), Brandon (Natalie), Matthew (Lisa) and Jordan (Camilla). A proud Pra-Babcia of Ryan, Brayden, Penelope, Grayson, Henry, Carter and Leo. Cecilia is survived by her brother Chester and his wife Marilyn Lukasik. She is the sister-in-law of Roman and the late Josephine Sokolowski, the late John and Stella Krupa, Mary and the late Peter Guatto, Frank and Donna Krupa and Stella and Lawrence Ciupak. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Cecilia came to St. Catharines from Poland at the age of 7. She was a long time member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and the Canadian Polish Society. Special thanks to Dr. J. Henry, Dr. G. Arvinte, the staff of Amica St. Catharines Place and Hospice Niagara. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., on Friday, October 13, 2017 from 2-4p.m. and 7-9p.m. The Rosary will be recited at the funeral home on Friday at 3 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 5 Oblate St., on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 9:45a.m. Interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery, Queenston St. If desired donations may be made to Hospice Niagara.
