Les, Kevin and I are so very sorry to learn about the passing of your Mom. Everyone who knew you saw that inseparable bond between the 2 of you. Your devotion to her was extraordinary. Your Mom was a gentle and kind woman who wanted to be involved in the world around her. We will miss seeing her at the many, many political and community events we have shared together in the past. Our prayers to both you and your family, as you find your way through the difficult days ahead.

I had the honour of meeting Mrs. McDonald in 2009. I have known her son Les for over 40 years. It was so nice to see them together. You could really see the mother and son bond they had. She was a beautiful woman, inside and out.
My deepest condolences to Les and his family. She will be missed very much. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
