Obituary of Hulda Mueller

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother, oma and sister, Hulda Mueller, on Wednesday, November 2 in her 82nd year. Dear wife of the late Oskar Mueller. She is predeceased by her daughter Heidi (Tim) and her parents Heinrich and Emma Giese. She is remembered with love by her daughter Elizabeth (Martin) and her grandchildren Evan and Zachary. Beloved older sister to Helmut and Irma, sister-in-law to Ida, aunt to Stephan and family and step-oma to Brandon and Jillian. She will be fondly remembered by her aunts, uncles and cousins here and in Germany. Born in Romania, she emigrated with her family to Canada in 1951 from Germany. She was a founding member of Grace Lutheran Church and a longtime volunteer in the children's ward of the St. Catharines General Hospital. Oma found peace in her garden and joy in her grandchildren.  She will be greatly missed. Visitation will take place at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Sunday, November 5 from 2 - 4 p.m. and 6 - 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 6 at 11 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 213 Linwell Road, St. Catharines. Interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
