Obituary of Michael Gadula
GADULA, Michael
It is with sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of our brother, Michael. A dearly loved, kind and simple soul. Also mourning his passing are his 3 brothers George (JoAnne), Wayne (Marlene) and Brian (Sharon). He will also be remembered as a fun loving character, an especially kind human being to many. A cherished uncle, aka Uncle Mooshka, to his nieces/ nephews, Michelle Gadula, Jordan (Kelly), Alexandria Anger (Evan), Jelayna, Emily and Neill, Joey and Aimee Laliberte. As well as 5 great nephews Cameron, Lincoln, Coen, Davyn and Phoenyx. Our brother was a faithful, loving friend to Penny. Mike was an employee of the City of St. Catharines, Parks & Recreation for many years and thus had a talent with a lawnmower. Many knew him as the face behind a zamboni as well. He never missed a Junior B game on a Friday night! We would like to gratefully thank his team of angels over the last several years, most recently all those at Garden City Manor, Doctors & Nurses at the NHS-ICU for the last month, for all the TLC extended to Mike. Heaven blessed us with a Divine appointment with Mike right before he passed so we have the blessed assurance of his Eternity with Jesus. He will now join in joyful celebration, his mother, Winnie, his father Joseph, sister Teresa / niece baby Mary, and brother Lawrence. So no goodbye's Uncle Mooshka, simply see you later! The family will receive family and friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 5-8pm A service to honor his life will take place on Friday, December 8, 2017 at 10:00am in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Hospice Niagara. In keeping with the spirit of Mike, above all be kind to one another.
