Obituary of Regina Gerda Lockstädt

LOCKSTÄDT, Regina Gerda “Mum”
 
With sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Gerda “Mum” “Oma” on Monday, December 4, 2017 at the St. Catharines General Hospital, at the age of 74. Beloved wife of the late Leo (2016) for over 54 years. Supportive Mum of Rick, Angela, Mark (Shantelle) and Kevin (Angie). Caring Oma to Alyssa, Ethan, Taneal, Max, Ian, Logan and Olivia. She will be dearly missed by siblings Ursula “Ulla”, Jürgen and Ralf, nephews Jeffery, Jeremy, Timothy, Herb and Richard and many other extended family members. Gerda is predeceased by her parents Peter and Margareta Hamm. Visitation will take place on Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines, and from 10-11 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church, 213 Linwell Rd., St. Catharines on Friday, December 8, 2017. A Funeral Service will take place following the visitation on Friday in the Church at 11 a.m. Burial will follow the service at Niagara Lakeshore Cemetery, Niagara on the Lake. Memorial donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Grace Lutheran Church Memorial Fund or Concordia Lutheran Theological Seminary.
