SACCO, Josephine (nee Versace)
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Josephine (Pina) on February 16th, 2018. Loving wife of the late Anthony Sacco (1981). Loved and adored mother and best friend of Connie, Fran (Brent) and Paul (Lucy). Precious and much loved Nonna of Vanessa (Dave), Katryna (Matt), Marissa (Alexis) and Anthony. Predeceased by her sisters Lena, Maria and Carmela, and brothers Salvatore, Nino and Marco. Survived by her sisters-in-law Yolanda Sacco (late John) and Joanne Sacco (late Dominic). Pina will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in Canada and Italy. Pina’s greatest accomplishment was her children whom she loved unconditionally. She was a woman of great faith and compassion with a generous spirit and heart. An exemplary role model, she will be greatly missed by all those blessed enough to have known her. Words cannot express our gratitude to Dr. Dianne Walker-Jebb, Carrie and Leanne for their kindness and compassionate care during her days, and Para-Med for their support. Pina’s arrangements were entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME.
