Obituary of Theodora Hendrika Pepping

Pepping, Theodora Hendrika (nee Hutjens)

“Do” passed away unexpectedly but peacefully at her home in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada  on Sunday morning, March 11, 2018.

Predeceased by her husband “Joep”, her parents Gerardus and Paulina and her brothers Henry and Leo; she will be missed by her four remaining siblings, her five children, her numerous grand and great-grandchildren and other family and friends.

Born in Arnhem, Nederland, “Do” immigrated to Canada with her family in 1971 and she has called it home ever since, continuing to raise her family and plying her trade as Custom Seamstress among other endeavours. She was industrious and creative and had a generous nature. She enjoyed her house plants, painting, creating wall hangings and knitting sweaters, mitts and hats for family and the needy; having donated a copious amount of them to various Organizations over the years. She was also an avid reader of many genres in both Dutch and English. Classical music was always on her radio and a cup of coffee was always near. She will be fondly remembered.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass for Theodora at Saint Alfred Roman Catholic Church, 272 Vine Street, St. Catharines on Friday, March 16, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will take place privately at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Ingersoll, Ontario at a later date.
