PETRUCCI, Filomena (nee DiFranco)

Passed away peacefully on Friday, March 16, 2018 at the age of 97. Beloved wife of the late Giovanni (2004). Much loved mother of Carmel (Lucio) Fratangelo, Maria (Vince) DiBiasi and Teresa (John) Zupancic. Cherished Nonna to Maria (Dean), Flora (Wade), Nick, Tina (Rocco), Vincent, John James, and Kristen. Great grandmother of Alex, Myla and Francesco. Dear sister of Mario (Lina), Guiseppe (Victoria), Giovanni (Maria). Predeceased by her siblings, Pietro and Antonietta. Filomena will also be fondly missed by friends and family. Filomena will be remembered for her famous sponge cakes, her storytelling, and her love of singing. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Tuesday, March 20 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Tuesday at 3 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred Roman Catholic Church, 272 Vine St., St. Catharines on Wednesday, March 21 at 1 p.m. Entombment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
