Obituary of Susan J. Chambers (nee Cunningham)

Passed away peacefully on March 27, 2018 at the age of 62 after a long, hard-fought battle with cancer. Loving wife to Darrell of 35 years, beloved mother of Jennifer (Jason) Fleming and Justine (Michael) Pernal and cherished “Mimi” to Abigayle, Jack, Andrew, Charlotte and Adam. Survived by her sister Cheryl and extended family members. Predeceased by her parents Larry and Joan, her sister Sandra and her step-mother Norma.

Family and friends will be welcomed at the George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton St., on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Vigil Prayers will be recited at 3:45pm on Tuesday at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 10am at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 31 Chestnut St. East. In keeping with Susan’s wishes cremation has taken place. Memorial donations made to Hospice Niagara or Rankin Cancer Run would be appreciated by the family.
