Obituary of Yolanda Cybula
CYBULA, Yolanda Margaret (nee D’Amico)
Passed away on Thursday, April 19th, 2018 at the Salvation Army Eventide Home in her 96th year. Loving wife to the late Marian. Devoted mother to Thomas (Elaine). Loving grandma to Krysta (Michael) Cournoyea, Kevin Paolozzi (Sara Henry) and Alexandra (Jesse Herbolic), and great-grandma to Nicholas and Benjamin Cournoyea. Predeceased by her parents and her siblings, as well as her daughter-in-law Connie.
To all lucky enough to have known Yola, she will be remembered as having an opinion on virtually everything, and having no qualms about sharing her thoughts no matter where she was or who she was with. She was also a passionate defender of her family, and as a young girl would never shy from a fight to protect them.
A brief family gathering will take place on Thursday, April 26th, 2018 at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines from 2pm-3pm. Burial to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
The family has requested memorial donations to the Kristen French Child Advocacy Centre Niagara be made in lieu of flowers.
