Passed peacefully at Linhaven Home for the Aged on Monday, May 7th, 2018 at the age of 85. Loving husband to the late Claudia (2013). Guy will be sadly missed by his children Josie (John), Marguerite (Perry), Antoinette (Fred) and Guy Jr. (Sonia). Cherished grandpa to Adam (Jessica), Paul, Samantha (Jeremy), Eric, Emma, Chelsea, Aaron and great-grandchildren Oliver, Scarlett and Evelyn. Survived by his brother and sisters in Caraquet, NB.
Guy retired from TRW in 1993 after 40 years of service. Guy’s proudest accomplishment was his 4 children completing post-secondary education. When Guy wasn’t making wine, he and Claudia would travel in the Jeep to New Brunswick during the summer months.
Family, friends and guests are welcomed to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Wednesday, May 9th, 2018 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm for visitation. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Eglise Immaculate Conception, 101 Garnet Street on Thursday, May 10th, 2018 at 10am. Guy’s family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Collins and her staff at Linhaven for their compassionate care.
In lieu of flowers, Guy’s family would appreciate donations be made to Friends of Linhaven or the Roy Adams Centre.
