Obituary of Alessandra Montemarano (nee Di Pietro)

Montemarano, Alessandra (nee Di Pietro) - Passed away unexpectedly on Sunday June 17, 2018 at St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 84. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 59 years Salvatore (July 25, 2009). Sadly missed by her children Joe (Jenny); and Lucy Damiano (Angelo) of Woodbridge. Loving Nonna of Adriana (Steve), Dina (Joey), Sandrina (Patrick), and Ashley. Cherished Bisnonna of Adam, Andrew, Abby, Emily, and Jacob. Will be fondly remembered by many loving family members and close friends. 
Family will be received at George Darte Funeral Home, 585 Carlton Street on Wednesday between 2-4 & 6-9 pm. Vigil prayers will be said in the funeral home on Wednesday at 3 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Alfred's Church, 272 Vine Street, on Thursday at  9:30 am. Entombment will follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Diabetes Association or Kidney Foundation.
