Obituary of Diane Kerling

KERLING, Diane Caroline (nee Heidebrecht)

Born February 15, 1955 in St. Catharines and passed away on July 4, 2018, very suddenly but peacefully with her family at her side. Much loved wife and best friend of 38 years to Bill Kerling. Devoted mother to Candice (Graeme Piercy), Wes and Travis. Cherished Oma to Rylee, Teddy, Zach, Ellie, and Asher. Special sister to Pat (Barry), Danny (Inara), Mark (Deborah Ann), Beccy (Gary), Susan (Phillip), Tim (Marilyn); sister-in-law to Helene (Robert), Roy (Laurie), and Jimmy (Judy). Also remembered by her aunts Sally, Susie and Elsa. Diane was predeceased by her parents Abe and Ursula Heidebrecht. Diane will be sadly missed by her many loved nieces and nephews, friends, and clients of Videl's Hair Salon, where she was employed for over 40 years. Diane loved life and lived it to the fullest, always thinking of others before herself. Her family was her whole life and we can't imagine it without her. Family and friends will be received at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton St., St. Catharines on Sunday, July 8 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Diane's life will be held on Monday, July 9 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home ceremony room. Interment to follow at Victoria Lawn Cemetery.
