My dear cousin Suzy set a daily example of all those qualities we so admire in the best of us. When I think of Suzy I think of words like loving, thoughtful, kind, generous and courageous. I loved Suzy to pieces, always an inspiration, she brought the best out in me and I think that this was one of her greatest gifts.
I will always hold dear the memories we shared of our two trips to England and the fun Steve and I had showing her and Dave the sites of Utah. Suzy's fun-loving nature was always in evidence; she got such a kick out of keeping an eye out for Robert Redford at Sundance and the discovery of the little dining car cafe in the Utah outback.
She couldn't wait to introduce me to our English cousins who were so gracious to us as they squired us about the countryside and the towns and cities. Gadding about on trains throughout England, visiting sites where our ancestors lived, was an adventure spiced with laughter and discovery.
I feel like these experiences were gifts to me from Suzy, moments I could never have imagined if not for her loving and generous spirit and her dauntless sense of adventure.
To hold the memory of someone in your heart is to celebrate the life they led and the joy they brought to others. Dave and Rebecca we will always hold your dear Suzy's memory close to our hearts as we will keep you and your families in our thoughts and prayers always.
Love,
Leanna and Steve Minnick

This woman has been in our lives since we got together in 1970. She has been a very giving and appreciative person. We have had a Euchre Club since 1977 and only this year have not been able to have everyone able to participate not just Suzy but some of us as well. So many memories, her visiting Cape Breton for her ancestors and insisted that we could be related. There is no other so involved in her wreath making, flowers, all donated, and given with pride. Her Gardening Angels will welcome her. We will remember her for all she did for us over the years. We will both miss her terribly. GOD BLESS YOU SUZY. As to Dave and Rebecca you will miss her but be so proud of who she was and what she did for everyone.

I will miss Suzy so much. I loved her friendship and her generosity. We did a lot together. We worked at General Motors and Gardening Angels and now she is an Angel. She won't be suffering any longer and is in her son Matts arms. We traveled to England and Newfoundland together and had a great time. Her courage was the strongest I've ever seen. She fought a hard battle. I will cherish her memory always. God bless you Dave and Rebecca and your families in your time of sorrow.
Love to all her family Edna and Charlie Coles until we meet again.
