Obituary of Peter Evans

EVANS, Peter - Passed away with his loving family by his side on Sunday, August 12th at the Greater Niagara General Hospital at the age of 89. Beloved husband of  the late Catherine. Loving companion of Joan Rolland. Cherished father of the late Sharon Kirton (Edmund), Donna (Douglas) Sanders, Peter (Pam) Evans, Russell (Jan) Evans, Bruce (Cheryl) Evans, Catherine (Kevin) Strotmann and Penny (Steve) Leatherdale.  Special Poppa of 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Peter is predeceased by his grandson Cole Evans (2016). Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 585 Carlton Street, St. Catharines on Saturday, August 18th from 11a.m.-12p.m. A Celebration of Peter's Life will follow at 12p.m. on Saturday in the funeral home chapel. Memorial donations to Hospice Niagara would be appreciated by the family.
