Obituary of Alice "Edna" Topolinsky
TOPOLINSKY, Alice "Edna"
For 92 years you were an angel in the shape of our Mom. Brokenhearted are Colleen (Bill) Smith, Deb (Rob) Foster and Mike (Anna) Topolinsky. Grandmother to Brent (Alicia) Smith, Blake Smith & Andrea Bouw, John (Amy) Foster, Geoff Foster, Mitchell Topolinsky and Adam Topolinsky. Great-grandmother to Ava & Ethan Smith and Sarah & Charlotte Foster. Edna will be welcomed in to Heaven by sisters Vera, Libby and Ann and by brothers-in-law Len, Roy and Albert.
Mom's life, as a totally giving mother, consisted of sewing, knitting, needlepoint and most of all gardening, where she proudly won "Best Rose in Show" at the Niagara Horticultural Society with her Peace Rose. Once known as the "Candy Apple Lady" in NOTL on Halloween for many years, Edna's passion for baking squares, tarts, pies and the delicious Christmas Cake and Trifle will be forever missed. When Edna was not busy digging in her garden, she loved to sit and watch the fish in her garden pond.
The family would like to thank all those at Linhaven for their devotion and care given to our Mom - Hugs.
Arrangements are entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, 905 937 4444. Cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the St. Mark's Anglican Church NOTL Building Fund.
Hallelujah, you're home!
